I wait for the Lord , my soul waits, and in his word I hope; (Psalms 130:5 ESV)

A good word, thank you Lord I needed to hear this! When our emotions play tricks on us, and our feelings change and our moods swing—wait on the Lord. I rest in the fact that He changes not–“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19

He is a steady and solid rock for us to lean on and cling to—“my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence.” 2 Samuel 22:3

Let us fix our eyes upon Him this day, humbling ourselves before Him confessing our sin and being cleansed—“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
